Paul is the Director and founder of firm Econ-Finance. 13 years ago after observing a gap in the mortgage market, Paul created a firm that looked at client needs first then packaged clients for suitable lenders. Econ-Finance gave borrowers a valuable advocate - a broker with the experience required to guide borrowers toward their goals. Paul’s commitment to customer service and his achievements in customer satisfaction has seen him recognised by Mortgage Professionals Australia as a ‘Top 100 Broker’ for residential loans and a ‘Top 40 Commercial Broker.’  PLAN Australia nominated Paul for ‘Broker of the Year,’ and Econ-Finance for New South Wales ‘Business of the Year.’  Paul brings a wealth of financial knowledge and industry experience together with a desire to help make a difference to the lives of young carers.

Margaret Skagias - CEO & Director
Margaret Skagias - CEO & Director

Margaret founded CaringKids in 2014 to address the practical support needs of young carers.  With over18 years' experience working across government and non-government sectors within Australia and overseas, Margaret has delivered and coordinated individual, group and community based programs for children, youth and adults, most recently co-ordinating community support programs for a leading cancer charity.

Margaret's determination to deliver practical support for young carers began following a four-year period delivering emotional support and respite camps for young carers aged 8-26 years. She influenced the inclusion of young carers in national government policy and advocated for services to assist young carers to complete their education. However, it was the first-hand account of young carers' experiences, and the challenge they faced finding practical support, that were the inspiration for CaringKids.

Margaret has a special interest and expertise in Volunteer Management, Carer Support, Mental Health and Children & Families.

Margaret holds a Social Work Degree from the University of Sydney and in addition a Master of Public Health from the University of New South Wales. She has also completed study in Interior Decorating with the Sydney Institute TAFE Design Centre.
